My perfect weekend in Atlanta would be fairly simple in comparison to how much there is to do in my favorite city. On Friday evening we would take in a show at the Fox Theater, most likely a musical such as Les Misarabe or Wicked, then head a block or two down the street to the Melting Pot for fondue, two can split a fondue for $15 there. Perhaps then retire to the Holiday Inn or the Marriott. Saturday morning we would pack a cooler with drinks and sandwiches and head to Six Flags in the morning, riding roller coasters till dusk. On the way back to the hotel we would stop at Stone Mountain Park to ride the tram line up to the top of the mountain and hike back down watching the sun set and then take in the lazer show. Sunday would be an Aquarium day, watching the beluga wales and the penguins play all day. |
